Screenshot to Drive is a Chrome extension that allows users to capture screenshots and upload them to OpengSpace. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about what data we collect and how it's used.

1. Screenshots
- What we collect: Images captured by you using the extension
- How it's used: Screenshots are uploaded to OpengSpace servers at your request
- Storage: Images are stored on OpengSpace servers according to their privacy policy
- Retrieval: You can access your uploaded screenshots via the URL returned after upload
2. API Key
- What we collect: OpengSpace API key that you provide
- How it's stored: Stored locally in your browser's Chrome storage

3. Source Configuration

Permissions Required
activeTab
Purpose: To capture screenshots of the current tab
Usage: Used only when you explicitly click the capture button

Purpose: To identify the active tab for screenshot operations
Usage: Used to get the current tab information during screenshot capture
storage
Purpose: To save your API key and configuration preferences locally
Usage: Your API key is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device only
scripting
Purpose: To inject screenshot functionality into web pages
Usage: Used to implement area selection and scroll capture features
Host Permissions (https://openg.space/*)
Purpose: To upload screenshots to OpengSpace servers
Usage: Screenshots are uploaded only when you explicitly trigger the capture action
Data Sharing
We share the following data with third parties:
- OpengSpace: Screenshots you capture are uploaded to OpengSpace servers
- This includes the image data and metadata (filename, source)
- Your API key is used for authentication with OpengSpace
- No other third parties: We do not share your data with any other parties
Data Security
- Local Storage: Your API key is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device
- Transmission: Screenshots are transmitted over HTTPS to OpengSpace
- No Server: The extension does not maintain its own servers or databases
- No Tracking: No analytics or tracking mechanisms are implemented
Third-Party Services
The extension uses OpengSpace (openg.space) as the image hosting service.

Your Rights

Data Deletion
To delete all data stored by this extension:
- Right-click the extension icon in Chrome
- Select "Manage extensions"
- Click "Remove from Chrome"
- This will delete your API key and all local data
